Data and Strategy Unit (DSU)

Integrated Mission Dashboard Built and maintained by Statistics Division, the Integrated Mission Dashboard serves as a centralized digital interface that consolidates data from all major schemes of MoHUA. It empowers stakeholders - including the Hon'ble Minister, senior officials, and mission teams - with real-time data analytics and performance tracking tools. By consolidating diverse datasets into a unified interface, the dashboard simplifies complex analysis and nurtures transparency across programs. Its customizable modules allow stakeholders to access scheme-specific insights, monitor real-time performance metrics, and identify emerging trends and challenges. This data-driven approach enhances accountability, facilitates timely interventions, and supports continuous improvement in policy execution in the Ministry. Ultimately, the integrated dashboard empowers decision-makers to drive impactful, sustainable urban development with precision and agility.
The mission the integrated dashbaord is to empower evidence-based urban governance by transforming data into actionable intelligence. Positioned under the Statistics Division of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), the DSU is assisting in advancing a culture of data-driven decision-making across all urban development initiatives of the Ministry using this integrated dashboard. Through the integration of data from key schemes of the Ministry into a unified digital ecosystem, the system ensures consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of information. By leveraging advanced analytics and visualization tools, it provides stakeholders with comprehensive insights that support strategic planning, performance monitoring, and policy optimization.
The mission extends beyond data consolidation - it aims to stimulate innovation in urban management, enhance clarity, and enable timely interventions that drive measurable impact. By aligning data strategy with national urban development goals, the dashboard plays a critical role in shaping resilient, inclusive, and sustainable cities.
The dashboard envisions a future where urban development is seamlessly guided by intelligent data systems and collaborative insights. Its vision is to cultivate a robust digital ecosystem that empowers leaders, planners, and citizens to shape cities through precision-driven, transparent, and adaptive governance. By harnessing the power of integrated analytics, real-time dashboards, and predictive tools, the system aims to create an environment where challenges are proactively addressed, progress is continuously tracked, and impactful change is driven with clarity and confidence. Ultimately, the dashboard seeks to redefine urban transformation - where every decision is informed by data, aligned with national priorities, and responsive to the evolving needs of India's urban landscape.
